A little over 3 years ago, I started looking for another way to raise calves.
Dean, my husband, and I wanted to get out of the weather and use group housing to eliminate the time consuming chores of feeding and bedding individual pens thus reducing hired labor costs. We were reluctant to spend the $15,000.00 on a name brand auto feeder.
